Day 1 - Home / Baton Rouge
We transfer to the airport for our flight to New Orleans. Upon arrival our motorcoach awaits and we’re off to Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana, for a three-night stay. Enjoy a get acquainted dinner this evening. Let the good times roll! (D)
Day 2 - Day Trip to Natchez
Travel north to Natchez, Mississippi, one of the most charming towns in the Deep South. The broad, tree-lined boulevards are graced with more than 40 antebellum mansions. Learn about a by-gone era pre-Civil War, when cotton was king and Natchez was a great seaport. Enjoy a city tour and visit two restored historic mansions. Relax over lunch with fine southern cooking at the Carriage House Restaurant in Stanton Hall. (B,L)
Day 3 - Cajun Country Tour
Drive west to Lafayette and St. Martinsville in the heart of Cajun Country. We’ll visit the Martin Accordion Factory, and see the St. Martin de Tours Church and the Evangeline Statue and Oak, marking where the legendary heroine waited for her lover, Gabriel. See an Acadian house at the Longfellow-Evangeline State Park. Dinner is included tonight. (B,D)
Day 4 - Baton Rouge to New Orleans
A morning tour of Baton Rouge viewing the city’s past and present Capitol Buildings and the new and old Governor’s Mansions. Then motor south along the Great River Road and marvel at the plantations and shipping activity along the river. Stop at Houmas House for lunch and a tour of this Civil War era mansion. Next we arrive in the “Big Easy” - New Orleans - where the old French, Spanish, and Creole splendors are preserved. See the marketplaces, wharves, dueling places, millionaire homes, and dramatic gardens of this historic city. Visit Jackson Square, the Garden District, and Saint Louis Cemetery. We’ll check into our hotel, a historic building near Lafayette Square. Our evening is free. (B,L)
Day 5 - Houma/Swamp Tour/Gator Farm
Venture to the city of Houma, steeped in Cajun tradition and culture, and famous for food, fishing, music, and hospitality. Begin with a swamp boat tour seeing brilliant flora and a variety of birds and reptiles. Then, after lunch at a great local restaurant, visit a Gator Farm. Get up close to these giant monsters and even hold a live baby alligator. (B,L)
Day 6 - WWII Museum/Free Time
This morning visit the National WWII Museum, which highlights amphibious D-Day invasions from the war. See several great movies, plus the new exhibit “The Road to Berlin.” Enjoy an included lunch at the Stage Door Canteen with special musical guests. Then, free time back in the French Quarter to explore or shop on our own. Return to the hotel prior to our farewell dinner at a famous culinary school. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - Mardi Gras World/New Orleans/Home
Tour impressive Mardi Gras World where the best parade floats are built. Next stop at the French Market for lunch and shopping before arriving at the airport for our return flight home. Transportation will be provided from the airport back to our respective areas. (B)

Day 1 - Arrive in Lancaster/Jesus at the Millennium Theatre
Join Shenandoah Tours as we travel by motorcoach to the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish Country. We’ll attend the matinee performance of the brand new show, JESUS, presented at Sight & Sound’s Millennium Theatre. JESUS is an action-packed musical adventure that will take us on an amazing journey with the most famous person to ever walk the earth. Witness his ministry and miracles as they come alive on the great stage. We’ll be overwhelmed by his love, mercy, and goodness, as were the people whose lives he changed forever. JESUS...yes, there is just something about that name! Dinner is included afterwards at one of our favorite Amish restaurants. Check into the Country Inn for our overnight stay. (D)
Day 2 - Showboat at The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre/Home
A morning of quiet beauty in Amish Country. Following our included breakfast we travel along backroads on our way to either Kitchen Kettle or a local farmers’ market. On to Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for lunch and the thrilling musical, Showboat. Hop on board this paddle-steamer on the mighty Mississippi and set sail on a journey into the lives, loves, and heartbreaks of show folk. Enjoy memorable songs like Ol’ Man River, Goodbye My Lady Love, and Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man of Mine. Following the show we’ll board our coach for the trip home. (B,L)
