Tour #25037
Noah ... a show of unbelievable proportions! An amazing opportunity to witness live on stage the building of Noah’s ark. Experience this inspiring story at Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. With more than 300 animals and elaborate sets, Noah is a journey through time that we’ll never forget! Relive this awesome time when a family was told to build this huge floating vessel and fill it with animals. We’ll actually be a part of Noah’s family “in the Ark” when God shuts the door and the first raindrop falls. In addition, we’ll enjoy lunch and the musical, Fiddler on the Roof, at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.  Come along and enjoy!

Day 1 - Friday - May 16
Arrive in Lancaster / Noah

All aboard our motor coach as we travel north to Lancaster’s Amish Country. Upon arrival we’ll attend the matinee performance of Noah presented at Sight and Sound Theatre. With a catastrophic storm on the way, Noah is given a monumental task - build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood that will cover the entire earth. As Noah endeavors to live faithfully in the midst of an increasingly chaotic world, can he trust that God’s promises run deeper than the rising water around him? This landmark production takes us on board one of the world’s best known voyages as live animals fill the stage and aisles. Set sail on the enormous ark as this extraordinary story comes to life right before our eyes. This is an experience we’ll long remember! Afterwards dinner is included at one of our favorite restaurants, and we’ll check into our hotel for the evening. (D)

Day 2 - Saturday - May 17
Fiddler on the Roof at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre / Home

After our included breakfast at the hotel, we meet our local guide for a fascinating backroads tour of Amish Country with its fertile fields and American charm. Next we stop at either Bird-in-Hand Market or Kitchen Kettle Village. Here we find homemade baked goods, local crafts, and other Amish treasures. We continue to Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for an included lunch the fantastic show Fiddler on the Roof, a splendid musical that depicts life among the Jewish community of pre-revolutionary Russia. Tevye, a poor milkman, is determined to find good husbands for each of his five daughters. Witness what happens when attempts to maintain his Jewish traditions collide with outside influences.  Following the show we’ll board our coach for the trip home. (B,L)
