Day 1 -Monday - June 2
Arrive in Niagara Falls
Welcome aboard! We’re off to thundering Niagara Falls, one of Shenandoah Tours’ favorite vacation spots. Journey north and by late afternoon we cross the border and enter the Canadian side of the Niagara River arriving in spectacular Niagara Falls, a natural wonder with exceptional beauty and awe. Horseshoe Falls creates a silver gray mist, complete with a rainbow, as six million cubic feet of water drop nearly 200 feet per minute. Our host hotel is the Country Inn & Suites. For our enjoyment there are a variety of shops, restaurants, and sightseeing attractions as well as Casino Niagara. A free evening for individual interests.
Day 2 - Tuesday - June 3 Sightseeing Tour / Welland Canal
/ Skylon Tower
Join our local guide for a morning sightseeing tour. We’ll explore the area sights including the world famous Floral Clock, giant hydroelectric plants, Horticulture Center, and Queen Victoria Park. In addition, we’ll stop at the Welland Canal Locks providing passage for cargo ships between Lakes Erie and Ontario. Enjoy an included dinner this evening in the Skylon Tower revolving dining room overlooking the falls, and then view the Falls in colorful lights. (B,D)
Day 3 - Wednesday - June 4 Niagara-on-the-Lake / Cruise
/ Butterfly Conservatory
Explore Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful 19th century village on Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. Worth a visit for its charm alone, it features historic shops and colonial homes with immaculate gardens. No visit to Niagara Falls would be complete without experiencing a thrilling cruise to view the thundering falls from river level. Enjoy the Butterfly Conservatory featuring over 2,000 butterflies in this tropical oasis. A free evening allows time for shopping and additional sightseeing on our own. (B)

Bermuda is a string of islands 21 miles long and 2 miles wide. The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating its 100th Birthday, and our travelers are invited to the party! Join Shenandoah Tours as we travel to Nashville, Tennessee, for this grand celebration. Our adventure begins at the amazing Gaylord Opryland Resort, boasting acres of lush indoor gardens and cascading waterfalls. At the Grand Ole Opry, we’ll enjoy a backstage tour, a birthday dinner party, and main floor seating for the performance. We’ll also head on down to Memphis to visit Graceland, Elvis Presley’s mansion, and Sun Studios. A treasure chest of attractions just waiting to be “unwrapped.”
Day 1 - Tuesday - June 10 Travel to Nashville
Today we’re en route to Nashville. Enjoy a leisurely drive as we travel into mid-Tennessee. Upon arrival we’ll check into the Gaylord Opryland Resort for a two-night stay in traditional rooms. Enjoy exploring the conservatories this evening.
Day 2 - Wednesday - June 11 City Tour / Grand Ole Opry Backstage Tour & Dinner Party / Grand Ole Opry
Breakfast is included at the hotel before we head out on our Nashville city tour taking us through the heart of downtown and past many historic buildings, including the Ryman Auditorium, Tootsie’s world-famous Orchid Lounge, and more. Returning to the hotel enjoy some free time exploring the beautiful resort before heading to the Grand Ole Opry for a backstage tour and the Opry’s birthday dinner party. For 100 years, country music’s best performers have mesmerized audiences at the Grand Ole Opry Live Radio Show, the show that made country music famous. This evening’s Grand Ole Opry performance includes a special backstage appearance by an Opry artist. And there will be a photo op with the giant 100th birthday cake. A grand evening for all! (B,D)
Day 3 - Thursday - June 12 Travel to Memphis / Sun Studios
Enjoy an included breakfast at the resort before heading down to Memphis, the “Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll” and “Home of the Blues.” Music history was made right here on famous Beale Street, and we’ll visit Sun Studios where Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and B.B. King launched their careers. Soon we’ll check into The Guest House Hotel, just steps away from Elvis Presley’s Graceland, for a two-night stay. Our evening meal is included at Marlowe’s Ribs and Restaurant, family owned and operated for over 35 years and loaded with Elvis memorabilia. Enjoy! (B,D)
Day 4 - Friday - June 13 Graceland / Stax Museum
Today we’ll don our blue suede shoes for our visit to Elvis Presley’s Graceland Mansion and Entertainment Complex. This 14-acre estate includes his home, business office, and the Meditation Garden where Elvis has been laid to rest. See dazzling costumes, gold records, a 24-carat gold leaf grand piano, custom airplanes, and an automobile museum. This afternoon, enjoy a Memphis city tour, en route to Stax Museum of Soul Music, which celebrates the birth and life of soul music and its influence. An included dinner will be enjoyed at Blues City Cafe on Beale Street this evening. (B,D)
Day 5 - Saturday - June 14 Travel to Pigeon Forge / Show
This morning we depart for Pigeon Forge, known for its entertainment, attractions, and Southern hospitality. We’ll check into our local hotel and afterwards enjoy an evening show. (B)
Day 6 - Sunday - June 15 Travel Home
Spend a free morning browsing and shopping in Pigeon Forge. Later today we’ll board our coach for the trip home. (B)

Travel to Alexandria Bay, New York
All aboard, we’re enroute to New York State and the picturesque Thousand Islands. Arriving in Alexandria Bay, New York, we spend three nights at Captain Thomsons Resort in “castle view rooms.” A delicious dinner is included for us this evening. (D)
Day 2 - Monday - June 16 Night Heron Glass-Bottomed Boat
/ Rock Island / Boat Museum
A special treat is in store for us today - we board the Night Heron, a unique glass-bottomed boat, and learn about the fish and wildlife that share the river. Peer through the glass at an underwater ship wreck, the topography of the river bottom, one of the region’s largest underwater shoals, and dock cribs left over from the Gilded Age. Explore Rock Island State Park and climb to the top of its historic 1847 lighthouse for unparalleled views of the St. Lawrence River. Afterward, enjoy a visit to the unique Antique Boat Museum. The docents share factual history and personal stories of the Museum and the Thousand Islands Region. See the 106’ houseboat LaDuchesse, built in 1903 for hotelier George Boldt, manager of New York City’s famed Waldorf-Astoria hotel. Return to our hotel, freshen up and relax before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Day 3 - Tuesday - June 17 Thousand Islands Cruise / Boldt Castle / Winery
Today we’ll enjoy “The 2 Nation Tour” as we cruise through the enchanting channels of the Thousand Islands. Learn about the region’s rich history from a guide while sailing by spectacular scenery and magnificent island homes. This cruise offers close-up views of historic and scenic wonders in both the American and Canadian sections of the Thousand Islands (box lunch included). Complete the day with a stop at historic Boldt Castle on Heart Island. This replica of Rhineland Castle was built at the turn of the century by entrepreneur, George Boldt, for his wife as a “summer home.” Later, we’ll visit a local winery and enjoy a tasting before returning to the hotel for a free evening. Travel Home

Day 1 - Wednesday - June 25 Travel to Maryland / Maritime Museum
/ Cruise on the Miles River
All aboard! We’re on our way north to St. Michael’s on the Chesapeake Bay. This quaint town located on Maryland’s fabled Eastern Shore, features handsome churches and colonial, Federal and Victorian homes. We’ll visit the Maritime Museum dedicated to Chesapeake Bay watercraft numbering about 85 vessels. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a cruise on the Miles River aboard a Patriot Cruises boat. We’ll see the historic homes and native wildlife along the way, and watch local watermen harvesting seafood from the waters. We continue to Salisbury where our overnight accommodations await.
Day 2 - Thursday - June 26 Crisfield / Cruise to Smith Island
We’re off to Crisfield, Maryland, known as the Seafood Capital of the World. Visit the J. Millard Tawes Museum depicting the history of the beginning of the Chesapeake Bay before boarding the boat for quaint Smith Island, a wildlife sanctuary where the common people live in harmony with nature. This is Maryland’s only inhabited island accessible exclusively by boat. Enjoy this cruise to the Island, and an included fresh seafood lunch at the Bayside Inn. Free time to explore this quaint island before returning to the mainland. Heading back to our hotel a free evening will be enjoyed. (B,L)
Day 3 - Friday - June 27 Lunch at Gadsby’s Tavern
